Why We Work Together
As the California retail market continues to mature, brands are seeing significant competition for shelf-space with dispensaries throughout the state. This is driving price wars and significant pressure on supply partners, leading towards an untenable situation for brands that are not growing their own inputs.
NewTropic believes that there is room to provide low-cost options reliably, to both secure and maintain shelf space for economy brands, which represent the fastest growing segments of several product categories.
To achieve this goal, we need integration with our farm partners and alignment of our collective financial goals.
What We Build
NewTropic is providing a substantial deposit against a set number of acres. Once harvested, NewTropic will convert these raw inputs into finished products. Farm partners would be guaranteed a minimum clearance price, but would also participate if NewTropic is able to clear the inventory at higher prices. Final payments would be issued once products are sold and payments received from the retail or distribution partner.
Our goal is to deliver these units through a scaled and highly-automated supply chain that will enable us to consistently deliver quality products at prices that most manufacturers won’t be able to match in the long-term.
